Course aims | Participants will be enabled to understand the research data management requirements of various third-party funders and to meaningfully integrate them into their project planning. The workshop focuses on writing convincing Data Management Plans (DMPs) — particularly for funding proposals, but also for general project planning. Best practices for creating a DMP will be presented, and participants will be trained in using the supporting software Research Data Management Organiser (RDMO) (rdmo.uni-paderborn.de). |

Methods | Lecture, software demonstration, and collaborative creation of Data Management Plans. Participants are asked to bring their own laptops to try out the software themselves — ideally with their own project ideas. |
