DSH Courses at Paderborn University

The University of Paderborn offers intensive German language courses to prepare students for the German Language University Entrance Examination (DSH). The course is intended for international prospective students who do not yet have sufficient German language skills for a degree program taught in German.

The DSH course is exclusively for applicants who intend to pursue a degree program in German – not for students of English-taught master's programs.

Courses begin at the start of each semester in April and October.

The courses are conducted by the Center for Language Teaching (ZfS). They start at level A2 and specifically prepare students for the DSH exam. Proof of A1-level German is required. A1-level courses are not available.
