In the initial phase of their doctorate, many doctoral candidates have the feeling that they are all alone with a wide range of interdisciplinary questions. This is where the peer coaching programme "Starting Your PhD" comes in: PhD students in the first year of their doctorate are brought together in small groups and can exchange ideas on topics that are currently of particular concern to them over the course of several sessions. In each session, one or two participants present a current challenge or question that the group can help with. We share experiences, give advice and try to develop possible solutions together.

The topics discussed in the individual sessions can be brought up by the participants themselves.
