Termination
The employment relationship as WHK ends
- automatically at the end of the employment period stipulated in the employment contract.
- prematurely by written cancellation of the employment contract with one month's notice to the end of a calendar month.
- prematurely without notice by cancellation agreement. In this case, you apply for the cancellation of the employment contract with the consent of the line manager.
Please note:
If you require a certificate of employment in accordance with Section 312 of the Third Book of the German Social Code (SGB III) for the Federal Employment Agency in order to apply for unemployment benefit, please inform your responsible HR officer. In this case, the HR department will inform the LBV NRW, which in turn will send the required data electronically to the Federal Employment Agency. The required certificate of employment will be issued by the Federal Employment Agency and then sent to your private address.
In the event of a change of status to a scientific tariff employee, a cancellation or termination of the previous employment relationship may be required.
Simultaneous employment as a WHK as a tariff employee is not possible.
