Individual writing consultation
Individual writing advice is aimed at students of all subjects. The learning paths for academic writing during your studies are very individual. In some subjects, you will write little and only late in your studies, while in others you will write a lot and very early on. The range of subject-specific guidance also varies. Last but not least, the possibility of using AI in the writing process raises many questions. The aim of the counseling service is to support your learning process in academic writing. All meetings are confidential. Together we will look for individual solutions to your questions and concerns about academic writing.
Typical questions for counseling may include:
- How does academic writing actually work?
- How can I motivate myself and get started?
- How can I structure my text in a meaningful way?
- How can I plan my writing process and set goals for myself?
- How do I figure out what I want to say?
- How do I deal with (negative) feedback and how can I revise my text?
- How do I find out which rules apply to my text?
- How do I integrate AI tools in a meaningful and acceptable way?
- How can I overcome writing difficulties and blockages?
Your question is not in the list or you are not sure what exactly you want to know yet? No problem, we can explore it together!
